I splurged on this pair of hiking shoes. For me and trails its quality over quantity. I give these shoes 8/10. The Danner is a great shoe for trails that don't consist of a whole lot of boulder or sharp rocks. I love the support they gave my feet. I especially like the wide toe so my feet had room to breathe. My only major complaint is after a strenuous hike my feet ached. I think some more padding would definitely help. Aesthetically these shoe scream Misty. I love the design and color of the Danner Trail 2650.
